Falassarna was a great ancient city of western Crete and today it is famous for its tropical beach with crystal clear waters and fine golden sand. Falassarna beach actually consists of 5 small beaches in a row separated from each other with dunes and rocks. It has been declared as “Natura” protected area since 2000. Falassarna is located 59 km west of Chania and 17km away from Kissamos.
HOW TO GET THERE: Falassarna can be reached by buses departing daily from Chania or by car towards Kissamos following the signs to Falassarna.
